Doug from Pennsylvania sent this to me yesterday, I was thrilled to see that the beavercon 22 field trip made it into the 15 minute segment on beaver benefits in Maryland. It’s really well done and I enjoyed it immensely, but I’m still smarting with envy over the idea that state parks in the “Old Line” State get to install flow devices and parks in the ‘golden state’ just kill beavers instead.
Make time for this. It’s that good.

February 1, 2023 at 11:40 amIt’s just California criminalizes just about everything including a wet paper bag; because history shows that if no one in government can commodify a natural resource as revenue, it uses the typical law-enforcement scorched earth tactics on it, but 100 percent of the time, it’s a worse outcome. Then the cycle of destruction loop continues on and on until it’s too damn expensive that it dents the budget, so it’s a search for a cheap solution that’s been under their noses in the first place. Imagine that, an engineer that works pro bono, works 24/7, no payroll taxes, no health insurance and isn’t in a union! There’s no better employee with an outstanding work ethic than a beaver…When will they – the clueless government bureaucrats- figure that out?
