When you were a kid, didn’t it seem that this time of year brought out all these hidden treasures in your normally ordinary home that couldn’t have possibly been there before? Since you were untroubled with the details of where all this regalia was painstakingly stored away every year, it seemed almost like magic to suddenly have decorations and ornaments. Kind of like snowfall, where you wake up one day and everything is sparkling and different. I especially remember a gold-lettered volume of Christmas stories that was whisked away for most of the year, and unveiled around advent. You probably have some treasures of your own to recall.
