Look closely boys and girls because that would be an adult salmon. Brock Dolman suspected and Bob Coey from NOAA confirmed that is an adult chinook “King” salmon “with adipoose intact” meaning it’s wild and not from a hatchery. It means very good news for Virginia’s beavers because there is a much better chance she can protect them when she can show they’re protecting Chinook.
