“Hi Heidi. We just wanted to call about the beaver festival. I know we never got back to you or said we were coming but if you have a table and awning for us still we’d love to be there. Let me know.”
“Hi Heidi. I know my group didn’t pay for chairs but might you have some that we could borrow? It’s a long time to stand. Let me know.”
“Hi Heidi. Look the film crew is coming in to Martinez tonight and we’d like somewhere to park our 30 foot soundstage trailer. Can we park it by your house and pick it up Saturday? Let me know.”
‘Hi Heidi. It’s the chief of police. I know the city manager said the film crew could sleep in the park, but it’s against the law and they that’s impossible. Sorry. Have a great event anyway.
“Hi Heidi. I know my group said they didn’t want a canopy and I’ve waited tell approximately the last minute, but I’ve changed my mind. And no one can possibly borrow one from a friend because there are no soccer moms in our vast social network, Can you get the delivery crew to change the order today? Let me know.
“Hi Heidi. We just heard the stage is only going to be 12 feet long. It really needs to be longer. Can you get more platforms delivered today? Let me know.”
“Hi Heidi. The park ranger who was handling the stage is on leave of absence because of the sequester and didn’t arrange it before. I don’t know if we can help you this year.”
“Hi Heidi! It’s your mother. I’m coming to the beaver festival but last year there weren’t very many places to sit down. I know you probably have to bring a lot of things, but can you bring me a folding chair? Let me know”
Hi Heidi. We’ll be there to film your interview thursday afternoon. We just want you to be relaxed, and maybe wear a brighter color. You’ll be wearing these mics and we’ll have some shades and extra lighting. Don’t worry about a thing. Just be yourself.
Not a problem. Or even a choice, really. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be the one breathing into my paper bag and watching this over and over.
