Connoisseurs of beavers that you undoubtedly are, you will notice instantly that this film was made under the burden of terrible prejudices and bigotry, with a mistaken “Goofus and Gallant” view of our watery heroes. We can’t really blame the British. They killed all their beavers and haven’t been able to watch them for 400 years. BUT it’s still delightful footage. Sure to bring a smile. So tolerate the intolerance and enjoy.
