Because the beaver isn't just an animal; it's an ecosystem!

Do Beavers Live in the Dam?

No. Beavers live in the lodge. The dam is solid, like a fence, to hold back water. Beavers in larger bodies of water build ‘island lodges’ which are like mounds of sticks that push up out of the lake. In narrow creeks beavers build bank lodges tbat are tucked into one of the shores. They never live in the dam.

Nope. I assure its not. Beavers NEVER live in the dam. If you found someplace that beavers are living then it’s not a dam. And if you found a dam there are NO beavers living inside it.
