I caught this news clip and was immediately impressed with the casual, determined way this farmer in Whitwell poses for the news crew wearing a windbreaker in the sleeting rain and then the raining sleet without a single grumble. He has seen it all before. Farming is a hard life and he knows it.
He is far leess tolerant of the rodent that floods his hay fields though.I must be a city girl because I thought hay needed water to grow?
