Yesterday there was a great post from Emily Fairfax who is finally able to spill the beans and say that she had been consulting with 
the folks working on Hoppers for 5 years teaching them about beavers. She posted some fantastic photos of field trips with the animators that I wanted to share.
You can see they got taken to some spectacular beaver places.
What made me the happiest was to remember that 5 years ago was the California Beaver Summit. I had been so excited to see at the time that there were TWO registrations from Pixar. I hoped it meant good things down the line and held my breath.
One of summit registrations was from a wildlife consultant who was working with them at the time. And the other one was Nicole Grindle who was a well known producer.
Nicole Grindle was the producer of Hoppers.
