Because the beaver isn't just an animal; it's an ecosystem!

Day: March 11, 2023

Winters aren’t easy for Beavers

During storms the water level at Tulocay Creek rises considerably, under this flow is whats left of a Beaver Dam

During big storms the Tulocay Creek water level rises enough to flood the Beavers out of their lodge during the day. This unhappy looking kit was

resting on top of the lodge during the middle of the day waiting for the water level to recede so it could return to the safety of it’s home.
