Watching a Beaver Pond being created and the dams being built is a wonder to behold. Over time the wildlife that comes to live at the ponds is amazing. People in Napa have been fortunate to have two Beaver ponds in the City of Napa and not far from downtown.
The bigger of the two had a very impressive Beaver lodge directly next to a people lodge (Hawthorne Suites Hotel) for many years.
