Because the beaver isn't just an animal; it's an ecosystem!

UNLUCKY THIRTEEN

Sadly the virus gets the last word this year. Come see us NEXT year, and read all about what we have planned!

Planning for the thirteenth beaver festival is well underway. Wildlife groups from all over Northern California  have already signed on, including the Marine Mammal Center, River Otter Ecology Project, and Save Mt Diablo. For the first time ever this year musical lineup will include the Irish Newsboys in addition to other favorites. Napa artist Amy Hall will return to create a dynamic chalk mural showing what beavers do best.

Children are encouraged to draw along side her in addition to tracking down clues to solve the ecological mystery “The case of the missing salmon”.

Suspects include the otter, the muskrat, the great blue heron the coyote and of course the beaver. Can you find out what happened? Successful nature detectives will be given a prize to keep and remember what they learned that day.

Don’t miss what is sure to be a dam fun time! Plan on spending the last Saturday in June with us!
