BeaverCon 2 has officially been pushed back until the summer. WIth Omicron bearing its many teeth they were mulling the idea of going virtual but have agreed to reschedule for June, I wish them every fortune. It’s hard to imagine June ever coming at the moment, but I suppose it will. Theoretically we’re supposed to be having a beaver festival at the end of that month = with the children being nature detectives to find out what happened to the missing salmon. Remember?
The idea is that kids have to rule out suspects to solve the mystery by learning different animal tracks and collecting ‘alibi cards’ that will give them clues. When they solve the mystery they come back to me and collect a prize.
I did the top secret graphic dossier years ago now, but I never finished designing the alibi cards. Here’s one to get us in the mood.
